SIMRP
Self-Insured Medical Reimbursement
How SIMRP Works
The Model
Stack active employees across employer groups to build monthly residual income. Each enrolled employee generates a per-head residual payment every month — the more employees on the books, the larger the recurring revenue. Focus is on growing and retaining employee counts, not selling individual policies.
SIMRP (Self-Insured Medical Reimbursement Plan)
An IRS-qualified, HIPAA-compliant benefit that lets employers fund employee wellness through payroll tax savings instead of cash premiums. Employers reduce payroll and workers' comp costs while employees receive tax-free reimbursements — often creating a net-positive ROI for the employer.
